Motor vehicle accident recovery

treating auto injuries

After an accident it's important to seek clinical attention as soon as possible. Even seemingly minor accidents can cause damage to the body that may result in lifelong difficulties if left untreated. It is important to get examined, even if you feel fine, because some injuries can take a few days, weeks or months to become symptomatic.

If you have been in a motor vehicle accident (MVA) in Oregon either as a pedestrian, driver, passenger or bicyclist, you are legally entitled to receive medical care. In the state of Oregon, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance pays medical bills resulting from an MVA. State law mandates at least $15,000 in PIP coverage for you and each of your vehicle passengers for a period of one year after a collision – no matter who was at fault. The law allows you to seek care from licensed health care practitioners of your choice with no out of pocket cost to you.

A Agile Health and Wellness we are experienced at treating motor vehicle accident injuries. After a thorough examination, your treatment may include gentle chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue therapies and rehabilitation exercises.

If you are already seeing a chiropractor for your injuries but are interested in including a Pilates based rehabilitation program to accelerate healing, please call for a consultation. We will communicate with your care team and design a safe and suitable rehab program for you.
