Restore movement to your joints

Chiropractic physicians are holistic health care providers who examine and treat the whole patient. Their techniques are non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical.

Chiropractors are regarded as musculoskeletal experts who facilitate the proper mobility of your joints and soft tissues. Proper joint motion improves your quality of movement to relieve pain while also relieving stress on all of the other systems in your body, including your nervous system, circulatory system, and immune system. In this way chiropractic care can be preventative as well as restorative.

Chiropractic care is a safe, gentle and comprehensive way to improve your whole health. It may free you from acute or chronic pain, prevent future injury and illness, and improve your athletic performance.

Chiropractors treat more than back pain. Although they are regarded as musculoskeletal experts who treat the muscles and joints of the body, they are also successful at treating a myriad of other conditions from headaches to digestive disorders. Chiropractors are knowledgeable about all of the body’s systems and will refer you to the appropriate physician if your condition requires.

Chiropractic Care at Agile Health and Wellness

Chiropractic adjustments are meant to reintroduce movement and range of motion to joints and soft tissues that have become restricted or "stuck". This can be accomplished through several techniques. At Agile Health and Wellness it is our standard to start with the lowest force techniques required for your particular condition. These techniques include:

  • IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization)

  • ART (Active Release Technique)

  • Sacral-Occipital technique

  • Activator Method (low force instrument adjusting)

  • Drop table

  • HVLA (high velocity low amplitude thrust)

  • Mobilization

  • K Tape

Your appointment will also likely include rehabilitative exercises. You may receive targeted exercises or stretches for your specific condition at your 30 minute follow up or you may opt for a more active approach and schedule a longer rehab focused session.
